New Jersey Police Chief Accused of Leading a Secret Sex Cult

LEONIA, NJ – The daughter of a New Jersey police chief is accusing her father, and others, of having engaged in “ritualistic” sexual abuse against her and her sisters over a period of years.

The unnerving claims are part of an ongoing lawsuit the woman has filed, likening her father and others to participating in a sort of cult while the alleged abuse took place.

Leonia Police Chief Scott Tamagny, as well as a neighbor and acquaintance of his named Kevin Slevin, are the subject of an ongoing lawsuit launched by Tamagny’s 20-year-old daughter, where court documents assert the young woman, and her sisters, endured years of sexual abuse from their father and others.

Courtney Tamagny has recently taken the claims against her father public, detailing her alleged years-long abuse on various podcasts.

According to court documents, Slevin and her father would regularly abuse her in her home, as well as taking her out into the woods nearby to further the alleged abuse with “ritualistic” worshippers serving as both an audience and participants.

“[Courtney was brought] into the woods in Rockland County New York, and there was what appeared to be other middle-aged men present with masks on their faces,” court documents claim, adding, “She was sexually assaulted in those woods by defendant Slevin, defendant father, and some of the other men present.”

According to the lawsuit, the alleged abuse was carried out between 2009 and 2020, starting when Courtney was only four years old and purportedly carried on until she was fifteen.

The young woman claims in her suit that Chief Tamagny would regularly use sedatives on her and her sisters prior to sexually assaulting them, and would also threaten to murder their mother if she spoke up about the alleged abuse.

Jeanne Tamagny, the police chief’s wife, is also party to the ongoing lawsuit lodged against Chief Tamagny and is in the midst of divorcing her husband.

Courtney’s allegations outlined between the lawsuit and her public appearances are harrowing, to say the least, claiming this cult her father was allegedly involved in would regularly torture and maim animals and other children as well, tactics she asserts were used to scare victims into silence.

“What scared us the most is ‘OK, we’re doing this to these people we’ve trafficked, why wouldn’t we do this to you? Because we just did that to this young girl or this young boy’,” Courtney said while appearing on a podcast.

She claimed members of this alleged cult would engage in what they called “games” with the children but were in reality far from anything of the sort.

Referring to one of these so-called “games”, Courtney detailed a perverted interpretation of hide-and-seek where nearly a dozen kids would have to hide in the woods, and when they’re discovered by the adults, the alleged abuse would be carried out.

“They made it as if it was a game and you could win,” Courtney stated, “You weren’t going to win, you were always going to be hit, they just wanted you to look terrified and run.”

Chief Tamagny and Slevin have both denied the allegations brought forth, with the active police chief claiming past investigations have found his daughter’s claims to be baseless.

Slevin has also reportedly filed a countersuit against Courtney for defamation.
