BREAKING: Fugitive Antifa gunman wanted in connection to attack on ICE facility arrested in Texas

Benjamin Hanil Song, an Antifa-linked suspect accused of carrying out an ambush shooting attack outside the ICE Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, has been captured by authorities.

Song, 32, of Dallas was on the run after allegedly shooting up an ICE facility in Alvarado, Texas with others in an Antifa cell. He has now been captured by the FBI.

The FBI in Dallas wrote, "FBI Dallas safely apprehended Benjamin Song this afternoon in Dallas. Thank you to all of our law enforcement partners for aiding us in this search and apprehension. His arrest is the result of our determination to protect not only the community, but also our law enforcement partners that were the targets of a coordinated attack."

On July 4, federal officers were lured into an area near the ICE facility and were then fired upon by a group of militants dressed in black and heavily armed. One officer was shot in the neck, but was able to survive the ordeal.

The FBI believed that after the shooting, Song hid in the woods for 24 hours before escaping the scene.
