In a Wednesday evening hearing, Sean "Diddy" Combs was denied bail after he was found guilty earlier in the day on two of five counts in the federal case against him. Combs was found not guilty of one count of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking.
Judge Arun Subramanian noted during the hearing, "Even if the defendant was solely required to show that he is not a danger to the community, he could not meet that burden." The judge said that the court had denied bail, and "sees no reason to reverse that now" due to the defendant’s violence, per Inner City Press.
"At trial, the defense conceded defendant’s violence in personal relationships saying ‘it happened’ in relation to Cassie Venture and Jane," the judge said.
In response to the verdict, in which Combs was only found guilty of the two transportation for prostitution counts, supporters outside the courthouse were seen spraying baby oil on themselves.
When the FBI raided Combs’ Los Angeles mansion in March 2024, investigators discovered hundreds of bottles of baby oil, per the New York Post.
