There's no other way to say it: when you don't back the Blue, society breaks down. We witnessed this firsthand in Minnesota during the summer of 2020. Governor Tim Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan didn't just hesitate to support law enforcement — they actively tied their hands, surrendered our streets, and let Minneapolis burn. Then, instead of correcting course, they wrote the national playbook on how to demoralize and dismantle public safety under the false banner of "equity."
The consequences of that cowardice are now painfully clear.
Under Walz and Flanagan's failed leadership, the Minneapolis Police Department was decimated. Hundreds of officers left the force, either through early retirement, burnout, or outright despair. Criminals filled the vacuum. The result? Rising homicides, record carjackings, and entire neighborhoods held hostage by fear.
But the ripple effects didn't stop at the Minnesota border.
This same radical agenda — defund the police, weaken prosecutions, and prioritize criminals over victims — has metastasized across Democrat-run cities. From Portland to Philadelphia, from Chicago to San Francisco, we see the same chaos: rioting, looting, and violence unchecked. Law enforcement is vilified while anarchists are appeased. And working families pay the price.
Let's be honest — this was never about reform. This was about control. It was about tearing down the very institutions that keep us safe and replacing them with ideological experiments that have failed miserably, especially for the poor and working class.
Meanwhile, the very people who allowed it — like Tim Walz — continue to insult the men and women who risk everything to serve. Just this week, he doubled down on comparing law enforcement officers to Nazi Gestapo. That kind of rhetoric is beneath the office he holds and an embarrassment to the state of Minnesota.
And Peggy Flanagan? Silent. She refuses to condemn the ongoing looting or property destruction in our cities, yet she believes she deserves a promotion to the U.S. Senate? Her record is clear: she stood by while our communities were torn apart, and now she wants more power to do the same on a national scale.
Enough is enough.
America doesn't need more weak politicians bending the knee to radical mobs. We need leaders who will stand up for the rule of law, defend our police officers, and restore safety and order in our communities.
Our law enforcement officers wear a badge not for glory, but out of duty — to protect the innocent, uphold the Constitution, and maintain peace. The job is hard, the hours are long, and the emotional toll is immense. The very least they deserve is our support — not slander.
As a retired Navy SEAL, I know what it means to run toward danger while others run away. Our police officers do it every day. And as a U.S. Senate candidate, I promise you this: I will always stand with the men and women in blue. I will fight to restore funding, morale, and the public trust that politicians like Walz and Flanagan have tried to destroy.
Because if we lose the thin blue line, we lose the country.
