As if the fires burning in and around Los Angeles, California weren't enough, a new fire has broken out in the Hollywood Hills near the iconic Hollywood sign. Over 10,000 acres have aleady been burned and five lives have been lost. Tens of thousands have been evacuated, thousands of homes have burned to the ground and photos of the region show complete and total destruction.
The new brush fire sparked near 2350 North Solar Drive, between Nichols and Runyon Canyon. The fire is being fueled by the brush and dry ground in the area. The Los Angeles Fire Department is working to get near the fire to attempt to put it out.
