BREAKING: Elon Musk tells everyone to ‘register to vote’ because free speech depends on it at epic Trump rally in Butler, PA

Elon Musk joined Donald Trump on stage at the second Butler, Pennsylvania rally on Saturday, telling the audience that the GOP nominee must win to protect free speech. He admonished everyone to register to vote.

Musk told the audience that free speech depends on electing Trump, saying that it is a "must win situation" and that "you must have free speech in order to have democracy."

Trump brought Musk on stage, where he told the crowd, "People out there that are watching the video, watching the live stream, please get everyone you know at work, your friends, family, tech groups, text groups, your social media, everything. Get them to register to vote right now. Only two days left for Georgia in Arizona, only a couple weeks left in Pennsylvania, and if they're not registered, vote doesn't matter at that point, registered."

"He'd rather be making rocket ships," Trump said as Musk left the stage.

Prior to his speech, Musk was spotted donning a Make America Great Again hat as he greeted the GOP nominee in Bulter. Trump introduced Musk after giving a Tribute and holding a moment of silence for Corey Comperatore, the firefighter and father who was killed the last time Trump held a rally in Butler.

Musk posted on Saturday, "Headed to Pennsylvania to speak at the Donald Trump rally in Butler!"

Leading up to the second Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Musk was announced as a guest as well as a speaker. The first time the GOP nominee came to the Keystone State location and was nearly assassinated, Musk immediately endorsed Trump, saying at the time, "I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery."

After that point, Musk has gotten closer to working with the GOP nominee. The two held an X spaces discussion together earlier in the summer and they have spoken about Musk being tasked with overseeing an initiative to cut down on bloat in the federal government. The tech entrepreneur and Tesla CEO, over the last several years, has been critical of the leftward drift of the Democratic Party.

In August, Trump told reporters, when he was asked if Musk would be considered for a cabinet position, "He's a very smart guy. I certainly would, if he would do it, I certainly would. He's a brilliant guy."
