Washington Sisters Vanished Last Week On Way To 'Planned Visitation' With Their Dad, Police Say

WENATCHEE, WA - Authorities with the Wenatchee Police Department (WPD) are actively searching for three missing sisters that were last seen on Friday, May 30th, around 5:00 p.m.

KXLY reported that the sisters, nine-year-old Paityn Decker, eight-year-old Evelyn Decker, and five-year-old Olivia Decker were last seen when leaving their home for a scheduled visit with their father, Travis Decker. Authorities said that the current investigation has not "met AMBER Alert criteria," but that they have issued an Endangered Missing Person Alert (EMPA) through the Washington State Patrol.

The missing persons' poster states that Travis Decker is 5 feet, 8 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. The poster said he was last seen wearing a light shirt and dark shorts and driving a 2017 GMC Sierra with a Washington license plate number of DC0165C. Paityn Decker was last seen wearing a blue shirt, purple shorts, and pink Nikes. Olivia Decker, the youngest, was last seen wearing a coral and pink shirt.

Evelyn Decker, the third sibling, has blond hair and brown eyes; it is unknown what she was wearing at the time of going missing. Authorities said that the girls are "believed to be missing and unable to return home on their own." Fox 13 reported that the girls range in height from 4'2" - 4'8" and that all of them have brown eyes.

ABC News further confirmed that police said visitation with the father has been a part of the family's parenting plan, but that he has "since gone outside the parameters of it which is not normal and cause for the alarm." As of Monday, June 2nd, the girls have not returned home and contact with Travis, 32, cannot be made. WPD said that the father is homeless and living in his truck as well as motels, hotels, or campgrounds in the area. Anyone who sees the father or the girls are asked to call 911 or RiverCom at 509-663-9911. The investigation remains active.

In a separate incident, police in Ohio are investigating an Amber Alert for a one-year old boy.  The alert came, according to 10WBNS, after the Whitehall Division of Police in Columbus, Ohio, reported that a noncustodial mother, who was visiting her son at the Buckeye Ranch, made threats towards staff and left with him.

Hours later, police found 26-year-old Kristin Bailey and her son safe at a friend's house. The child was returned to his foster care family and Bailey was arrested. The boy had been in foster care since Bailey and the son were reported missing in September of 2024. The child was removed from Bailey due to her documented mental health issues and the concerns over his safety.

After the incident at the Buckeye Ranch, a staff member told police that it was the third time Bailey had left with her son. Bailey has not yet been indicted on any charges and according to police, she is receiving long-term care at the hospital.
