Fox News' Bill Melugin reports that "the Boulder terror suspect is an Egyptian national in the U.S. illegally as a visa overstay who entered the U.S. during the Biden administration. I’m told Mohamed Sabry Soliman arrived at LAX on 8/27/22 on a B1/B2 nonimmigrant visa with an authorized stay through 2/26/23, but he overstayed & never left."
"I’m told," writes Melugin, "on 9/29/22, he filed some sort of claim with USCIS, potentially an asylum claim, and on 3/29/23, USCIS under the Biden admin gave him work authorization, which expired on 3/28/25." Fox News reports that the information on Soliman's immigration status is per ICE and DHS sources.
Soliman is in police custody as the only suspect in a "hate-fueled" terror attack. He is believed to be the only person involved in the attack. He was apprehended while holding Molotov cocktails and was heard to shout pro-Palestinian slogans, such as "free Palestine."
"End Zionists!" He yelled. "They are killers! How many children you killed?" Six people were injured, all of them between the ages of 67 and 88. Two were airlifted to hospitals and one is in critical condition.
The FBI is investigating the incident as a terrorist attack. "Witnesses are reporting that the subject used a makeshift flame thrower and threw an incendiary device into the crowd," Boulder Police reported during a press conference.
"The suspect was heard to yell 'Free Palestine' during the attack. The subject has been identified as Mohammed Sabri Solomon, and he's 45 years old. The FBI is processing the crime scene in the subject vehicle and interviewing key witnesses. We're assisting Boulder Police and providing technical analytic and additional forensic resources. As a result of these preliminary facts, it is clear that this is a targeted act of violence in the FBI is investigating this as an act of terrorism."
This comes after many news outlets reported repeated a report from Palestinian terror group Hamas that the Israeli Defense Forces in Rafah had opened fire on Palestinians, killing 31.
Later, the IDF released drone footage showing that Palestinian gunmen and masked Palestinians were the ones who opened fire on the Palestinians at an aid depot. Those who were shot were attempting to get food that had been looted from a recent humanitarian aid drop in the region.
The attack was against an event held on Boulder's popular Pearl Street where protesters gather in a vigil for the hostages still held by Hamas terrorists in Gaza. It is held by a group called Run for Their Lives. This a recurring, weekly event.
