Bud Light parent company to invest $300 MILLION to manufacture in US

Anheuser-Busch InBev's North American branch, the parent company of Bud Light, said on Monday that the company would be investing $300 million into its manufacturing in the United States as there has been a push from the Trump administration to reshore manufacturing jobs.

Anheuser-Busch, which is based in Missouri, said that it has invested around $2 billion into 100 facilities around the country over the last five years. However, the company has also announced the construction of a new plant that will be located in Columbus, Ohio, according to a press release from the company.

CEO of Anheuser-Busch Brendan Whitworth said of the investment, “This new $300 million investment in our manufacturing facilities across the U.S. is the latest example of Anheuser-Busch’s commitment to strengthening our local communities by creating and sustaining jobs and driving economic prosperity. Investing in our people and in new technologies and capabilities to drive industry and economic growth is core to who we are.”

"Anheuser-Busch has been a shining example of what 'Made in America' means, and their latest investment of $300 million builds on their longtime commitment to grow our workforce and expand U.S. manufacturing," US Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer remarked about the investment. “They are demonstrating exactly what it means to put American workers first, setting a standard for other companies to follow.”

Last week, it was reported that AB InBev had an increase in its first quarter profits for 2025 which was double that of analyst projections. Profits were also higher than what sales volumes had indicated, Newsmax reported.

The news comes as other companies have pledged to make large investments in US manufacturing as the Trump administration has been pushing to reshore companies to increase job opportunity in the US.
