MILWAUKEE, WI— A stunning affidavit, unsealed by the FBI under Director Kash Patel has revealed that Nikita Casap, the Wisconisn 17-year-old would-be presidential assassin who was arrested after murdering his parents and stealing $14,000 in cash from them, was in communication via Telegram with a foreign handler with a phone number registered in Ukraine.
According to the affidavit obtained by the Gateway Pundit, the Telegram account that was communicating with Casap was linked to a phone number, +380 50 259 5318, registered under Vodafone Ukraine, which is the country’s largest mobile phone provider. The username of the account written in Ukrainian Cyrillic was revealed to be “PoМаН ВіКТОВИЧ” which renders in English as Roman Viktorovych. The country code +380 and mobile prefix 050 confirmed this.
The report from Gateway Pundit further analyzed the language in detail, differentiating the Ukrainian Cyrillic from Russian.

As reported by the outlet, the account was one of two that communicated with the suspect in Ukrainian Cyrillic text and actively coordinated a post-assassination escape to Ukraine, where he asked if he could expect to live a “normal life,” after his assassination plot against President Donald Trump via drone attack was exposed.
As previously reported by Law Enforcement Today and the Independent Sentinel, Casap discussed the prospects for going into “hiding” and texted two other respondents in Cyrillic regarding the purchase of weapons to kill the president, along with his travel itinerary. He reportedly told a High School classmate that he was in communication with figures in Russia, Belarus, Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Kazakhstan, as well as several Balkan nations.
According to the affidavit, “FBI personnel performing the preliminary review also saw a Telegram direct message conversation with be ‘PoМаН ВіКТОВИЧ’,” in which he said:
- "How long will I need to hide before 1 will be moved to Ukraine? 1-2 months?"
- "Also I probably should brush up on my Russian, because I can understand just fine but speaking is harder lol"
- "So while in Ukraine, I'll be able to get a normal job and have a normal life? Even if when it's found out I did it?"
- "Do the other 10 people also have similar beliefs to I? Or are they different?"
- 'Assuming that my parents won't leave..." [remainder of message cut off]
The 17-year-old reportedly planned to assassinate the President using an explosive-laden drone before fleeing the country to Ukraine according to the FBI and had written a "self-described manifesto regarding assassinating the president, making bombs, and terrorist attacks," suffused with anti-Semitic neo-Nazi rhetoric and praise for Adolph Hitler.
