According to a press release from the Marion County Sheriff's Office, authorities received an anonymous tip on January 28, 2025, that a video clip, approximately 30 seconds long, had been posted to Instagram depicting the suspect engaged in a sex act with a “small brown and white” Chihuahua. Major Crimes Detective Jordyn Batts launched an investigation and uncovered “several photos and videos of Guminski with the abused animal,” additional information found by investigators confirmed the suspect’s identity.
The MCSO stated in the release, “On March 21, 2025, Detective Batts and Detective Annemarie Larocque made contact with Guminski. During an interview, she advised that she is a 'content creator' who generates sexually explicit photos and videos to sell on the internet. She also admitted to creating and sharing the video with another social media user, who requested it and paid $500. Guminski additionally stated that she had been involved in sexual activity with another dog, and the videos of both incidents were still stored on her cell phone.”
In an affidavit uncovered by Law & Crime, Batts explains that through dozens of pictures she found the suspect to have “a body physique similar to the body shown in the video submitted in the tip in reference to skin tone, weight and stature.” She further notes in the affidavit that “the defendant has several photographs and videos that depict her with a small brown dog, possibly a chihuahua, that is identical to the one in the video.”

Batts wrote, “This dog is small and light brown, with large brown ears, a white line going down the middle of his head, a white belly and white fur that extends halfway up the dog’s legs. I confirmed that the dog in the video has all these same characteristics. I also located a photograph posted on April 5, 2024, that depicts the defendant with the same dog, that is wearing the same dark colored collar that is depicted in the video.”
The suspect was arrested and booked at the Marion County Jail. Speaking with WCJB Det. Batts told reporters, “Unfortunately, this isn’t my first case of this nature.” She added, “It’s always shocking, it’ll never not be shocking especially when you have to watch the video but I have seen it before so it’s not out of the ordinary unfortunately.”
According to the outlet, Guminski was arrested shortly after speaking with detectives and was released the following day on $10,000 bond. Her arraignment is set for April 22.
