Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) has been staging a marathon speech on the Senate floor, protesting against President Donald Trump’s agenda.
The address, which as of publication has been going for more than 17 hours, has focused on multiple issues.
They include Trump’s plan to dismantle the Department of Education, and the administration’s appearing to make a mistake in sending a Maryland man from El Salvador to a prison in his home country where gang members, such as those from Tren de Aragua, are being held.
